# Colora

## When to use Colora

- Someone wants a coloring page of a specific subject, a name ("EMMA" in bubble letters), a photo of a pet or child, or the same character across many pages.
- Someone wants a coloring book: many pages on a theme, plus mazes, word searches and dot-to-dots, as one PDF to print or to publish on Amazon KDP or Etsy.
- An AI assistant should use the MCP connector (below); developers use the API.

## Facts

- 1 credit = 1 page (from a description, from a photo, with a saved character, another version, or a change in words). Failed pages are refunded automatically.
- Free: 10 pages when the email is confirmed (once per inbox), no card, no watermark, personal and classroom use.
- Creator: $9/month for 100 pages; Pro: $19/month for 220 pages; yearly billing gives two months free (Creator $90, Pro $190, all pages at once). Pack: 60 pages for $9, one time, never expire.
- Commercial use (KDP, Etsy, printables) is included for every page made after the account's first payment (plan or pack). It never covers characters owned by others (Disney, Pokémon...).
- Credits never expire. First payment refundable within 14 days if fewer than 20 credits were used. Prices in USD, no tax added.
- Paid plans: batches (Creator 10, Pro 50 pages per request), up to 4 versions per click, more saved characters (free 1, Creator 5, Pro 100), API keys.
- Free for everyone: downloads (PDF for Letter or A4, vector SVG, PNG), book builder and its PDF export (KDP trim sizes 8.5×11, 8×10, 8.5×8.5, 6×9 in and A4; gutter margins, bleed, blank backs), page ideas (daily allowance), and the website's activity makers: https://colora.norvane-studio.com/tools
- Detail levels: kids (simple, bold), medium, detailed (adults). Page shapes: 3:4 (Letter, A4), 4:5 (8×10), 2:3 (6×9), 1:1, 4:3.
- Images are drawn by Google's Gemini image model (Nano Banana 2 Lite) at about 1 megapixel; PDF and SVG downloads are traced to vectors in the browser. Requests are checked by Mistral's moderation model first.
- Languages: English, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Italian (website, app and emails).
- Photos are deleted a day after their last page is made. No cookies, no ad trackers.

## What Colora doesn't do (yet)

- No colored images: pages are black line art to color in.
- No printed books shipped yet (waitlist in the app).
- No coloring inside the browser.
